My favorite part of Jill and Luke’s wedding day was all the laughs that took place prior to the vows. Both families were so much fun to get to know and work with, there was no shortage of fun for sure!
Their beautiful day took place at The Cabin at Old Spur in Timmonsville. This venue may look familiar because it’s also where we shot their engagement session a few months ago! This time around it was dressed up for the most perfect wedding day. White chairs graced the lawn overlooking the pond, with a floral adorned cross that Jill and Luke would say their vows in front of all their guests. The open air barn was decorated with soft flowing tulle wrapped around the beams and posts along with tables and chairs that were decorated with white linen, burlap and babies breath; there was also old barrels and spools covered with lace, gorgeous mums and lanterns. Everything was put together so well and really pulled the theme together.
I always tell my couples to enjoy their day because it goes by so quickly, and this day was no different! I felt like I blinked and Jill was walking down the aisle to meet Luke. She walked down the aisle while a live band played and sang. They shared their sweet vows with one another in front of friends and family and united their new family with a sand ceremony along with their precious son and daughter, Landon and Avin. I love that they included them during the ceremony; it was definitely a sweet moment between the four of them.
They even included Landon and Avin during the first dances of the evening; Jill danced with Landon and Luke twirled with Avin. I absolutely loved how family centered the entire day was.
I’m not sure we could’ve have asked for a better day. I enjoyed being a part of this special time in their lives.
