What I love most about social media is the ability to keep in touch with friends and family who are scattered all about the world. Gaby and I went to high school together at Battery Creek, in Beaufort, South Carolina. We graduated the same year and both went to different universities, but because of Facebook, we were always still connected.
Fast forward roughly 13 years, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Gaby and her husband, Josh. I was so excited to see her again, after all these years. Gaby hasn’t aged a bit, and is the most precious pregnant woman! We met up out at Hunting Island, on Labor Day weekend. I was a little worried the beach would be crowded, but much to my surprise we picked a great time to venture out on the beach. There was hardly any visitors on North Beach, and the lighting and sunset were to die for. Just check out the amazing images we were able to get down below!
Gaby came prepared with two beautiful gowns, a soft mint and a baby pink, coordinated perfectly with a floral crown. If you know me, you know I love all things pertaining to flowers. I am glad she included it, because it added a nice touch to their portraits.
Gaby and Josh were so easy to work with, and it helped that you could see and feel the chemistry between them both. Josh was so attentive to Gaby, and I can already tell that their baby girl, Joslyn, will not only have him wrapped tight, but will have a very protective and loving father.
It was such a treat to spend time with Gaby and Josh, I could not have asked for a better set of parents-to-be, or a more perfect sunset. Congratulations, Gaby and Josh, I can’t wait to see Joslyn once she decides to make her grand appearance. I wish you both the best as you enter parenthood, enjoy every drop of it, and savor every little snuggle.
Enjoy some of my favorites from their session below, and leave a comment for Gaby and Josh as they will soon be welcoming their precious baby girl. <3
