My beautiful friend is a mommy! I was so ecstatic when I found out that Julia and Kendall were going to have a precious baby in May. Julia and I had talked about what type of maternity session she wanted to do to document this amazing time in her life. We opted for an indoor, budoir type maternity session, which included a milk bath, one of Kendall’s button up shirts, some lingerie and of course maternity gowns. We booked a room at a local B&B in Sumter, South Carolina, and the results were nothing short of amazing! We had way too much fun, and I think we documented the beauty of her pregnancy perfectly. The B&B has gorgeous rooms, we booked the Morroccan room, because, if you know Julia, you know that jewel tones and boho vibes are fitting for her. We then took our session outside to the gardens behind the the B&B. My initial thought upon taking these were “The Secret Garden”, and paired with this mustard maternity gown, you guys, it was like it was made for Julia and this space! I absolutely love that set the most, if I am being honest. Julia literally was game for all of my crazy and I so appreciate her willingness! We ended with a milk bath in a gorgeous claw foot bath that came with the room. (all the heart eyes!; it turned out so pretty!)
Take a look at a few of my favorites from her session below and leave her some big compliments!
