Meet the Morris' | Leah + Brad | Wedding Day | 2019

I can count on one hand how many other Leahs I have met, or know. It’s always fun to meet someone that shares my name, and spelled and pronounced the same way. You would be surprised how many ways my name has been spelled and pronounced….

Leah came to me with a vision of a brunch wedding day idea. I loved it! The majority of wedding days I photograph are held in the early evening, with a ceremony time typically around 5pm. Leah wanted to forgo typical and tied the knot with her handsome groom, Brad at 11am. It was perfect. Leah began her day with her bridesmaids getting ready at a family friend’s home in Alcolu. Ashley Green and Samantha An of Salon A out of Manning, South Carolina worked their magic with bridal hair and make up, and it was stunning work as always!

The two were married at a quaint little church with their dearest family and friends. Due to the sanctity of the marriage ceremony per the pastor, I was not permitted to photograph anything during the ceremony, outside of Leah and her Daddy proceeding down the aisle and the kiss. But, that’s okay, because as soon as Leah and Brad said I do, I was able to make my way to the foyer as they sealed their vows with a kiss, and captured the recession of the couple and their bridal party down the aisle with their family and bridal party in tow.

Their reception was held under a tent at a location known as the Wagon Wheel, that over looked a pond. It was absolutely beautiful! The decor was gorgeous and the floral arrangements, phenomenal. I especially loved the cake display. It was unique and perfectly pulled in the rustic yet feminine details expected. The couple served foods you would find at a southern brunch cafe, omelets, shrimp and grits, bbq, and biscuits. It was absolutely delicious, but that’s to be expected then your food is catered by Traditions Fine Cuisine and Event Design, out of Manning, South Carolina. Their meals are always outstanding!

Leah and Brad shared a quick, impromtu dance and mingled with their guests for the remainder of the morning until it was time to run off amongst the bubbles!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with both Leah and Brad and their families. I truly had a wonderful time getting to know them. Take a look at some of their day below, and leave this precious couple some words of wisdom on this journey called marriage.
