Mary Anna and Tyler tied the knot at the beautiful Phillips Farm in Kingstree, South Carolina. I have only photographed one other wedding at this venue, but it’s definitely a favorite with all its beauty that it offers. We started our day with Mary Anna and her bridal party at Salon A in Manning, South Carolina. Ashley Green and her sister Samantha along with Emily and Kristin, were working their beauty magic all morning long. Mary Anna and her girls were stunning, to say the least. We met up with Tyler and his guys shortly after at the farm. I love, love, love laid back grooms and groomsmen. It surely makes my job so much easier! These fellas were on point, but they also knew how to have a good time. The ladies finished their final touches and my team and I prepared to capture a heartfelt letter exchange between Mary Anna and Tyler. It was such a special moment between soon to be husband and wife; these are some of my favorite memories to capture for my couples.
One of the reasons I love Phillips Farm is their variety of animals. They have horses, goats and my favorite, an alpaca (maybe it’s a llama, I get them mixed up.) If you look close enough in the bridesmaid’s photos, you can catch a peek or two of him photobombing! haha! Mary Anna and Tyler had a quiet, intimate letter exchange before they said their vows. These moments are some of my favorite during the day, whether it be around a corner, or door, those breif few moments before being united as one are always so precious.
The ceremony was picture perfect, with a crowd of Mary Anna and Tyler’s closest friends and family. Their reception was covered by a live band that was exceptionally great! I always enjoy a live band. But, I think the best touch was Tyler’s best friend/best man, Joe Gonzalez,, sang the song for the first dance, and later serenaded the crowds with some pretty fun songs! Those personal touches make such an impact on such a special day, what fun it is to incorporate your friend’s talent to commemorate your wedding day.
I had a blast getting to know Mary Anna and Tyler throughout their whole wedding process, and I miss talking to Mary Anna’s momma ( Hey Mrs. Anna!!!!) about the little details. Take a peek at some of my favorite images from such a beautiful day full of love and laughter.
