Photographing weddings at Barrinea Pentecostal Holiness Church will never get old; it’s such a stunning church. Hannah and Michael’s wedding had me swooning again over the beauty that this church beholds, especially the beautiful foyer lighting. What’s even cooler, is that Michael is the associate pastor at Barrineau, and that made getting married there so memorable in my opinion. Their wedding day was such a calm day; lots of love and laughter, just peaceful.
The details of the wedding day were gorgeous, the blues were everything and more and adding the dash of red throughout, ahhhh, so pretty! Hannah’s bridal details are some of my absolute favorites. What I have loved about a handful of weddings I have photographed, is the special moments prior to the ceremony where the bride and groom want to meet, without seeing one another, to pray a special prayer before they come before God, family and friends. It is such a wonderful, beautiful reminder to always place God at the center of your marriage. So instead of planning a typical first look, they said a prayer with one another and Hannah opted to do a first look with her daddy and brother, Seth. I loved the big bear hug she and Seth shared when he first saw her all dolled up as a stunning bride. The ceremony was just as beautiful as they shared their vows with one another, and signified their love for one another and Christ with an ornate unity cross.
The reception was equally as fun and beautiful, Hannah and Michael shared a piece of the prettiest “naked cake” I have ever seen and tasted, tossed the bouquet (check out the air on some of those single ladies!) Their reception had some of the neatest decor, I loved the mirror with their timeline, and all the red, blue and white florals. The two lovebirds then whisked away amongst smoke and sparklers! I have never, ever seen sparklers give off that much smoke, but I don’t hate it at all, in fact, I loved it!
All in all, Hannah and Michael had such an amazing wedding day, that went so smoothly and perfectly.
