In home newborn sessions are starting to become some of my favorite sessions to photograph. The sweet Tiernan family welcomed me into their home to capture their newest little bundle, Kori. Though a little fussy in the beginning of our time together, she settled in and slept beautifully.
Her big brother, William, was the most precious big brother I ever did meet. He was attentive to her little cries and was such a great listener when it came to direction. (I think my EvaJean could learn a few trick on listening from him. Haha!)
Baby Kori Ellen was named after her maternal great grandmother, Ellen Pearl, so of course we had to honor her in some way! This portrait shown with Kori is impeccably perfect. I throughly enjoy seeing old photographs from the past, especially portraits of loved ones. There’s just something so mesmerizing to me about the technique and style of portraits from decades ago. I’m sure Kori will get to hear some amazing stories about her namesake from her mother as she grows up.
Enjoy a few of my favorite images from the Tiernans session below and leave some love for this new family of 4!
